judy usavage: I've been entering art shows for years, placing in some, enjoying the fellow artists comradierie, but since I rediscovered palette knife painting and the outdoors, I feel a rekindling of the passion for painting. I was always slow and somewhat methodical and creating large pieces just took so much time and effort. Now, I pretty much stick to 8x10 pieces and find that I can experiment more and be less fussy about the outcome. I had been sick with an auto immune disease to the point where I could hardly get out of bed; but now, thanks to a wonderful doctor who diagnosed and fixed me, and to Father God and His Word that sustains me, I'm back! I also play the organ, sudoku, cook new recipes since i'm now gluten free and enjoy dinners out with my husband and playing with Chloe, my poodle, Shitzu, maltese doggie. i love to garden but that is limited in hot summer. Recently, Chloe, James and I went on a month long camping trip in our popup camper to Oregon and back. We hope to have a photo, paint and prose show about it.
